Our Process

• We remove all doors, drawers and hinges, labeling each hinge to ensure proper placement upon completion.
• We lightly sand all doors, drawers and cabinets
  
• Surfaces are vacuumed and wiped clean
  
• Next, an adhesion primer is applied
  
• Lastly, 2-3 finish coats of Benjamin Moore Advance Paint are applied.  
  

Our process replicates a smooth, spray finish.  All work is done on premises, usually within four days.

At Detail Painting, we offer a complete service. We never leave a mess, or unfinished work. 

Preparation  All furniture, items, and floors are covered with clean drop cloths. Walls and ceilings are inspected for cracks, filled, and sanded.  Careful preparation of exterior work includes scraping, caulking, and priming.  Additionally, bushes, walks, drives, etc. are covered.  

Finish Coat Application  Quality paints and primers are applied at the proper millage according to manufacturer specifications.  Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, Behr, Cabott, and Valspar. Low/ No VOC paints are used where applicable.  

Cleaning and Restoration   Rooms are returned to their prior state. This includes the moving of furniture. Floors and carpets are swept and vacuumed.  All debris is removed.
